Trays

Other placement machines use palleting systems with stacked trays which supply the components. This provides a sufficiently large quantity of components so that the placement machine can operate without supervision. The tray shape enables the target component to be correctly positioned on the tray, and the handling system can then remove it. Trays are generally made of conductive material which prevents electrostatic discharge.
