We offer a wide range of solutions, including customized spring contact blocks and interface blocks. Our extensive range allows us to fit virtually any spring contact into a block. Adapting the spring force to the individual conditions is usually not critical. An important aspect is the adaptation to the piston, which is usually possible without great effort, which considerably simplifies integration into existing systems.

Manufacturing process: Injection molding vs. turning

The choice of manufacturing process for custom contact blocks depends on several factors, including the quantity and the specific requirements of the application. Options range from injection molding, ideal for high-volume production runs with one-time tooling costs, to turning/milling, a process for smaller runs without tooling costs but with higher individual part costs. For production, we either manufacture an injection mold to inject the contact blocks in our own plastic injection molding production facility, or we manufacture the contact block as a turned/milled part.

Realization of special requirements 

Our customized solutions enable the integration of almost all desired properties. These can be coding pins for the correct placement of the blocks on a PCB or a special design to compensate for different heights of two units. Retaining lugs for better stability of the unit on a PCB, placement aids, flanges or knurls are just some of the adaptations we can make.

The decision for the right material, such as PA, PEEK or POM, is based on the specific requirements of the respective application.
